Elop has hired communications specialist Elisabeth Andenæs to develop Elop’s brand and take the lead on the companies’ ESG development. Andenæs brings more than ten years of industry experience from companies such as Data Respons and joins the Elop as Communications and Marketing Lead.
Elop is a truly exciting company as their solutions can contribute to significant reductions in carbon emissions and be one of few companies to achieve so called green growth, says Andenæs. My job is to tell ELOPs story on how these advanced tools and cloud-based systems can make existing infrastructure safer and longer lasting, Andenæs continues.
Elop is in an important phase with industrialisation and deliveries to the market, and in order to achieve that we need an experienced resource like Elisabeth to take responsibility for building and maintaining the brand, says Director of Business Development and Sales, Per Arne Haug.
Technology companies are crucial in taking lead on sustainable development
Andenæs has expanded her education to learn more about green business models and strategy, measurements, and leadership and is in the strong belief that companies such as Elop can play a unique role in bringing focus to the opportunities that lies within green technologies.
Technology companies can have an important impact on reaching the Paris Agreements goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 Celsius by choosing to develop solutions that make the world safer and more sustainable whilst at the same time achieving financial growth.
CEO of Elop, Kjersti Kanne agrees and adds; ELOP has developed a technology solution that will contribute to a greener and safer future, but it is just as important to take responsibility and run our operations in a transparent sustainable manner. Elisabeth is, with her background and experience, a good match for us, and will play an important role developing this area, Kanne says.
