ESG

Elop is committed to offering innovative solutions with integrity, determination and expertise.

We believe we have a responsibility to take care of the world we live in, for this and future generations.

We have a responsibility

We consciously work to reduce the environmental footprint and improve safety of concrete structures with the technologies we develop. Our ambition is to integrate ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) and compliance in all aspects of our products and processes, for a safer and more sustainable future.

Reducing environmental impact

8% of the world’s carbon emissions come from the concrete production process. Extending the lifetime of existing concrete structures through optimised maintenance and inspection, will significantly reduce carbon emissions and have a considerable impact on the environment.

Elop’s groundbreaking ultrasound technology enables accurate and efficient inspection, management and structural health monitoring of concrete structures across the globe, giving asset owners full insight into the condition of their constructions and the necessary tools to analyse and maintain these structures, in order to extend asset lifetime and reduce carbon emissions.

Securing critical infrastructure

In recent years, there have been a number of bridge and building collapses that demonstrate the need for improved inspection and maintenance of critical infrastructure.

Elop’s technology and solutions provide information and insight into an asset’s condition. Employing this data to optimise maintenance and control, extends asset lifetime, making concrete structures safe, sustainable and financially viable.

Innovating the construction industry

Elop is committed to innovation and continually seeks to transform the industry we are part of, inspiring stakeholders to rethink the way in which they operate and manage their assets.

We will work to continuously grow our competence in close cooperation with our partners to create value for society in general and our clients in particular.

Growing a sustainable value chain

Elop shall lead by example and work with our suppliers to ensure that the whole supply chain complies with rules and regulations regarding the environment, as well as the health and safety of everyone involved in the development and production of our products.

We will also strive to ensure that all suppliers maximise their effort to re-use and recycle materials and components to minimise the environmental footprint of our value chain.

Investing in our people

Our success is a result of our people and their expertise and commitment. Elop invests in the health and wellness of our employees. We are committed to building a collaborative environment and to helping our employees to develop their career and thrive at work.

We believe equality and diversity mixed with a culture of respect and curiosity drive innovation and benefit the bottom line. Elop celebrates differences and we are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.

Demonstrating integrity

The way in which Elop conducts business is just as important to us as the reason why we do business. Integrity is a cornerstone of the way we work – and we will never compromise our ethical standards and guidelines. Creating lasting value requires integrity and transparency.

We sustain a trust-based relationship with our customers, our employees, our owners, partners and other stakeholders. We comply with applicable laws and practice good corporate governance.

Delivering quality

Maintaining assets such as bridges and other critical infrastructure is challenging. Quality is of utmost importance to us and we succeed by ensuring that we deliver products and services in line with high standards and expectations.

Promoting safety

We believe in doing the right thing – through our innovations, in our operations and through the services we offer.

We strive to make every day a day without accidents and injuries, and continually work to protect our employees, the operators of our solutions and ultimately the users of critical infrastructure.

The big picture
