Head of information management

Your passion will make a difference - as our new Head of Information Management you can help us transform the industry!ELOP is hiring Head of Information Management (IM) who will be responsible for strategizing, executing, and managing the hardware, software and service delivery of the IM function in full alignment with the business objectives of the organization.The Head of IM is essential in our effort to continue the digitalisation and scale up of our business, to ensure effective use of information, technology and tools to secure sharing of information inside and outside of the organization.We are looking for a leader who can work both strategically and at an operational level, is analytical, with a proven track record in setting clear goals and deliver on these.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and deliver on the company’s IM strategy and execution plans in close collaboration with functional owners and stakeholders, based on ELOP’s overall strategy and the purpose of the information will serve.
• Have the overview and understanding of the business processes and information required to run the business.
• Define the requirements for the IT structure and technology / tools to support the above.
• Ensure that the IT function is represented and is an active contributor and advisor in all IT related projects, even where other functions are owners
• Business Process Automation
• Plan and recommend, coordinate, direct, and design all operation activities of the IM/IT function.
• Leads and facilitates workshops and meetings internally and with external stakeholders, partners and suppliers.
• IM/IT budgeting and budgets
• Systems and network administration
• IM/IT functional management; suppliers, personnel, service delivery, policy and procedures.
• Own and continue developing and delivering framework and systems for Security – Access – Firewall Systems and Disaster Recovery Planning.
• End user support and training.
• Risk management within the IM area.
• Develop and deliver on key KPI’s for the IM area, and ensure operations comply with laws and regulations, company’s policies and procedures, and our ESG goals.
• Provides the reporting from IM as a function to other functions and senior leadership team.


Skills and qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent. Lack of formal education can in special cases be compensated with relevant experience.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of broad experience in Information Management and Technology, including PC, networks, reporting, security, hardware and software
Hands-on experience with enterprise systems and system administration.
• Strategic mind set with good business understanding to support commercialisation and industrialisation of the company’s offerings and technology.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and prepared to work in a hectic start-up environment. Share the same ambitions as us to deliver with success.
• Strong cross functional collaboration skills and is familiar with working with cross-functional teams across geographies.
• A team player who works closely with users, functional owners and internal and external stakeholders to deliver results that are in the best interest of the company
• Structured, well-organized, and effective. Manage and enjoy working in a hectic environment.
• Self-starter / proactive; able to multi-task and still meet deadlines
• Ability to independently prioritize tasks and drive processes, set and achieve targets
• Ability to build strong relationships.
• Motivate self and others and take initiative to drive change processes to continue development and improvements of services and deliveries.
• Strong verbal written and oral communication skills (Norwegian and English).
