Subsidiary awarded major contract

14 December 2022 – A subsidiary company of Inin Group has entered into a contract, with a total value of NOK 42 million, for installation of new signalling systems at Bergen and Arna railway stations in Norway.

The NOK 42 million project will be delivered by a company that is jointly owned by Inin Group subsidiary Rail Production AS (50%) and its cooperation partner Cemit AS (50%). Rail Production AS is part of Nordic Infrastructure Group AS, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Inin Group.

The project customer is Ground Transportation Systems Norway AS.

The work will be conducted during 2023.

“This contract confirms our competitiveness for large signalling projects. A substantial amount of signalling systems along Norwegian railways will need to be maintained, upgraded or replaced in the next decade or so. We have a strong team that can provide the support that our customers require to execute such projects safely and successfully,” says Gjermund Sogn, CEO of Nordic Infrastructure Group.
